spankulation is pointless.. we're not gonna "figure it out". And even if we did guess right, how would be know until they confirm.

Answer: after they figure out what the rewards are going to be....and after GW has calmed down enough that the community needs another infusion of news to keep people interested. That's how it works.

Spankulation sounds like an interesting activity

My total account hours are just over 2,000 in 17 months - I have played for around 2 hours in the last 3 weeks - The maths tells its own story - I need an incentive to keep playing now.

I don't really want to figure it out, my point is they need to provide an answer to avoid (to use the analogy) people divorcing GW and getting hitched elsewhere.

Psychology is a very interesting thing and I know enough about it to know that if I am feeling this way, many, many others of the same demographic as me will be feeling the same.

there are only 2 actually confirmed pieces of information

1. anything you have in your HOM will *UNLOCK* an unspecified, unique item (minipet/skin/spell/etc) which will not be available in any other way except the HOM *UNLOCK* to the character that *inherits* those unlocks

2. THE *UNLOCKED ITEMS* will give no advantage in playing the game so while it may look nice like *DIVINE AURA* it will have no effect on gameplay and give zero advantage/head start over a brand new player.

this means no transfer of wealth in any form including sale of unique unlocked minipets (guaranteed customized to prevent sale)

HOM is a flyspeck compared to GW2 and is not a major feature at all.

it is a very small nice touch but completely having no effect on the game itself.

a t shirt at a woodstock reunion saying *i was there* and nothing more

It's going to be minipets. You get one random GW2 minipet for each section you fill out. If you are lucky, you might also get a sound clip of Anet LoLing at you.





Okay I have no idea what it's going to be, but after all the hubbub of release I don't even care about the HoM anymore. :/

And therein lies my point - If you did know, you might care and if you did care, chances are you will continue to play GW and you WILL buy and play GW2.
